-(으)시- raises the subject: 가시다 → 가세요.
Combines with tense: 하셨어요, 하실 거예요.
Use for elders, customers, and respected subjects.
Object-giving to respected people may need 드리다 rather than only 시.
Level: elementary. Read the pattern, say each example out loud, then write two new sentences of your own before moving on.

흔한 실수
- Do not translate English word-for-word into “-(으)시-”: match Korean order and speech level.
- Do not treat near-miss patterns as free synonyms of “-(으)시-” without checking meaning and register.
