Okay so I actually read a Korean restaurant menu last week and understood most of it?? I've only been using this for like 3 months. With Duolingo I couldn't even get past the alphabet before I lost interest.

I keep forgetting to eat dinner because I'm trying to beat my friend's Arena score. Never thought I'd say that about studying Korean.

Gold League, 47-day streak
I'm taking Korean at uni and honestly this explains grammar better than my professor does. The conjugation exercises especially - those finally made -아/어요 click for me.

The voice tutor is the reason I upgraded. I was too embarrassed to practice speaking with real people but talking to the AI felt low-stakes enough to actually try. My pronunciation has improved a ton.

Lisa M. · Chapter 10, 120-day streak

Started because of K-dramas, stayed because the streak system is weirdly motivating. I'm on day 120 and I'd feel genuinely bad breaking it now.

Tom H. · Former Anki user

Imported my Anki deck with like 800 words and it turned them all into exercises automatically. Saved me months of making flashcards manually.

The free chapters are actually generous - I did all 3 before upgrading and they covered hangul plus basic conversations. Didn't feel like a bait-and-switch at all.

Alex R. · Chapter 6

My Korean friend said my particle usage is actually correct now. Particles! The thing every textbook says is "just something you have to feel." This app drills them until they're second nature.

Chris W. · Chapter 5, beginner

I tried 4 different Korean apps before this. The difference is the curriculum actually has a plan - you can see exactly where you're going and what you need to learn next. Other apps feel random.
