더 means more / -er: 더 빨리, 더 좋아요.
가장 / 제일 mark the extreme: 가장 커요, 제일 맛있어요.
Use 보다 with comparatives: A가 B보다 더 커요.
Mistake: 제일 더 좋아요 stacking both without need.
Level: beginner. Read both sides of the contrast, say the examples out loud, then write one correct and one incorrect sentence and fix it.
