조선 시대의 학자(1501~1570). 안동에 도산 서원을 세워 많은 제자를 가르쳤다. 이이와 함께 한국 최고의 성리학자로 꼽힌다.
English: Yi Toegye — A pen name for Yi Hwang (1501-1570), a scholar of the Joseon Dynasty; as a founder of Dosan Seowon, a Korean Confucian academy, in Andong, he taught many disciples; along with Yi I, he is regarded as one of the most prominent Neo-Confucian scholars in Korea.
