존엄사

인간으로서 최소한의 품위를 지키면서 죽을 수 있게 하는 행위. 또는 그런 견해. 의사는 환자의 동의 없이 원칙적으로 치료 행위를 할 수 없다는 것으로, 소극적 안락사라고도 한다.
