Korean Age Practice

Native numbers + 살 (한 살, 스무 살…)

How to say everyday age with 살

Everyday age expressions commonly use native Korean counter forms with 살: 한 살, 두 살, 스무 살, 스물다섯 살. As with other native counters, 1–4 and 20 have special shortened forms before the counter.

Formal documents can express age differently, so treat this drill as the everyday spoken 살 pattern rather than a rule for every administrative context.
