Korean Duration Days
Sino-Korean + 일 for length of stay (삼 일, 칠 일…)
How to express day durations with 일
This drill practices Sino-Korean + 일 for day durations, a pattern common in schedules, bookings, written information, and expressions such as 삼 일 동안.
Everyday Korean also has native duration words such as 하루 (one day), 이틀 (two days), and 사흘 (three days). Do not treat Sino-Korean + 일 as the only natural way to talk about how many days something lasts.
