Korean Floor Numbers
Sino-Korean + 층 (이 층, 삼 층…)
How to say building floors with 층
Building floors use Sino-Korean numbers with 층: 이 층 is the second floor, 삼 층 the third, and 십 층 the tenth.
This pattern is especially useful for elevators, directions, offices, apartments, and department stores. Keep it separate from native-number counters such as 명 and 개.
