Korean Duration Months
Sino-Korean + 개월 (삼 개월, 육 개월…)
How to express month durations with 개월
개월 is a Sino-Korean duration counter: 삼 개월 means three months and 육 개월 means six months. It is common in formal, written, and administrative contexts.
Everyday Korean also commonly uses 달 with native forms, such as 한 달 and 두 달. This drill deliberately practices the 개월 pattern; both systems are useful.
