Korean Phone Digits

Read digit sequences with Sino-Korean (일 이 삼…)

How Korean phone digits are read

Phone numbers are read digit by digit with Sino-Korean digits rather than as one large number. For example, a sequence containing 1, 2, 3 is read 일, 이, 삼 in order.

Zero is often read 공 in phone numbers, although 영 also represents zero in other contexts. The goal of this drill is quick digit recognition, not large-number place values.
