-(으)ㄹ 거예요 is the everyday plan/prediction form: 내일 갈 거예요.
-(으)ㄹ게요 is a speaker commitment reacting to the situation: 제가 할게요.
Use 을게요 when offering help or answering a request; use 을 거예요 for scheduled plans.
Mistake: promising with 을 거예요 when the conversation expects 을게요.
Level: elementary. Read both sides of the contrast, say the examples out loud, then write one correct and one incorrect sentence and fix it.
