Explanation

내일 봐요 (naeil bwayo) means “See you tomorrow” in natural polite Korean. Use it when you expect to meet the other person again the next day.

내일 means “tomorrow,” and 봐요 is the polite form of 보다, “to see.” Korean normally leaves the understood “you” unstated, so the phrase is literally closer to “See tomorrow” but functions like English “See you tomorrow.”

With a close friend who already uses 반말 with you, shorten it to 내일 봐. In a clearly formal or deferential setting, 내일 뵙겠습니다 is more respectful.

If you do not actually expect to meet tomorrow, use 또 봐요, “See you again,” or a situation-specific goodbye instead. The time word should match the real plan.

Examples

Common mistakes

  • 봐요 is written as one word, not 봐 요.
  • Do not use 내일 봐요 if you will only talk online and not meet; talk-specific phrasing may fit better.
