Explanation

영수증 means receipt and 주세요 means “please give me.” This is a concise, polite request after a purchase.

At many registers, a staff member may ask 영수증 드릴까요?, “Would you like a receipt?” You can answer 네, 주세요 or 괜찮아요 if you do not need one.

Keep a receipt if you might need to exchange an item, claim an expense, or confirm a payment. It is useful even when payment was by card.

In Korea, a card receipt and a cash receipt are different ideas. The basic word 영수증 safely covers an ordinary proof of purchase.
