Explanation

계산서 주세요 means “Please give us the bill.” 계산 is payment or settlement, and 계산서 is a bill or check.

At many Korean restaurants, customers pay at a counter rather than waiting for a bill at the table. In that case, 계산할게요 means “I will pay now.”

If you need an itemized receipt after paying, ask for 영수증. The bill and the receipt serve different purposes.

Examples

식사 후에 계산서 좀 주세요.

Siksa hue gyesanseo jom juseyo.

Could we have the bill after the meal, please?

여기에서 계산할게요.

Yeogieseo gyesanhalgeyo.

I will pay here.
