A natural first meeting is a sequence, not one magic phrase. Begin with a greeting, identify yourself, and add a first-meeting expression that fits the formality.
In a formal setting, 안녕하세요. 에릭이라고 합니다. 처음 뵙겠습니다 sounds respectful and clear. 만나서 반갑습니다 can follow or replace the last line.
In a relaxed polite setting, 안녕하세요. 저는 에릭이에요. 만나서 반가워요 sounds warmer and less ceremonial.
Keep the introduction short enough for the other person to respond. The goal is a shared exchange, not a memorized speech delivered without pause.
